2D Animation Studio in Bangalore That Pays Back With Every Reuse
You have a concept that takes a teacher twenty minutes at the board, or a brand that needs a face people remember by the third post. This page is for edtech teams, schools, publishers, children's brands and social media managers looking for a 2D animation studio in Bangalore to turn that into a drawn lesson, a story or a mascot. A film like that earns its fee by being played again: in every batch, every branch, every term.
Your reviewers in Bangalore work with Frame Makerzzz, a Mumbai studio with more than ten years in animation, over calls, screen shares and review links. Where you sit does not slow the 2D animation work.
Lesson films and mascot shorts are priced in different ways. Both are explained below, with a worked sum, so that you can plan a budget and a payback period before the first call, whether you are weighing 2D animation in Bangalore against a filmed lesson or a freelancer.
A lesson film has one test: afterwards, your learner can say the idea back. Every choice is measured against that. A joke that earns a laugh but pushes the key word out of the viewer's head is cut, and you lose nothing by it.
To get there, the script is written with your subject expert at the table and a copywriter beside them. Give the studio your learning objective in one sentence, the age or class, and the board or syllabus if one applies. The character, the pace and the pictures follow from those answers.
Mascot and social work runs on a different test: your audience should recognise the character in two seconds. The same mascot has to look right in a reel, a sticker, a school notice and a poster, so the design stays simple enough to redraw in many poses.
Your classrooms and feeds run in more than one language, and 2D animation handles that well. Kannada, English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu are all widely spoken in Bangalore, so 2D animated videos in Bangalore often need more than one version. Decide early which comes first.
Types
Which 2D animation format fits your learners and your channel
Choose the format by the age of your viewer and the place they will watch, not by what looks prettiest in a sample reel. Each one below also names the number you can check afterwards.
01
1. Concept lesson
One idea explained in 2D animation over five to eight minutes, with diagrams that build up step by step and a voice that guides the child. Films of five minutes and above are priced per minute. Check quiz scores on that chapter before and after.

Uses
Where your viewers watch the finished film
The viewing place changes the design. A film for a projector in a school hall needs bigger type and a slower pace than one for a phone held at arm's length.
These are the four places to plan around, and each one tells you something about how the film pays back.
01
Smartboards and projectors
The child in the last row must be able to read the screen. Large plain lettering, strong contrast and one thing happening at a time. Every period the 2D animation film replaces a repeated explanation, it returns teacher time to you.
02
Learning apps and course platforms
The film sits inside a chapter, often followed by a question. It ends on a clean frame, so your quiz can follow without a jump. Your completion and quiz data show whether it is working.
03
YouTube and Instagram
Your channel needs a steady supply of short 2D animation films with a familiar look. A reusable character, background set and sound style cut the work on each new episode.
04
Parent messages and school events
A 30-second film can go to parents for admissions, a safety rule or an annual day. It is watched on a phone, often without sound, so the words appear on screen.
- 01Edtech content heads. You need dozens of lessons, not one. The 2D animation character, style and voice are set once, and each later lesson reuses them, so your cost per lesson falls after the first.
- 02School groups and trusts. You need admission films, orientation for new students and playground or bus safety rules. Your audience is children and parents together, so the script speaks to both.
- 03Publishers. You add moving explanations to textbooks and workbooks. The wording of the approved text is followed closely, and any change is flagged to your editor.
- 04Coaching and skill institutes. Your learners are older and want speed: a short, dense explanation of a formula, a method or a software step.
- 05Children's brands and channel creators. If your audience is under twelve, you need a character that looks safe, friendly and consistent in every poster and clip.
- 06Social media managers. You are tired of stock templates. A mascot gives your handle a face people remember between campaigns.
Ready to talk it through?
A 30 minute call is enough to shape the first version.
Why it works
What 2D animation costs you and where it pays back
If you are comparing 2D animation video services in Bangalore with a camera shoot, weigh reuse first. A drawn film is not the cheapest way to explain something once. It starts to pay back when it is played again and again, which is exactly how lessons and mascots are used.
01
It shows what a camera cannot
The inside of a cell, the path of current through a circuit, the way a river system drains a whole region. Animation slows these down, labels them and takes them apart.
02
No children to arrange
Filming children needs parental consent, school permission, a location and a schedule that works around exams. Animated characters need none of that, and nobody is re-shot when a syllabus changes one line.
03
A correction is a small job
When a new edition fixes a date or a term, the scene and the voice line that carried it are redone. The rest of the film stays.
04
The price follows the length
A short 2D animation such as a mascot clip is priced by length before GST. That makes a 30-second film ₹45,000 once the under-60-second top-up of 25% is added, and a 60-second film ₹72,000. Lesson films of five minutes or more are priced per minute: ₹25,000 for 5 to 9 minutes, ₹18,000 for 10 to 14 and ₹13,000 from 15 minutes. A 6-minute lesson starts at ₹1,50,000, a 12-minute one at ₹2,16,000, and a 15-minute film at ₹1,95,000, which is less than the 12-minute film. All are starting points and not quotes, and the pricing planner on this site gives a quick estimate.
05
An example of how a course film can pay back
Say your edtech course page is previewed by 1,000 visitors a month, and a 60-second 2D animation film at ₹72,000 explains what the course covers. If it brings in 5 more buyers a month at ₹3,000 each, that is ₹15,000 a month and the film pays back in just under five months. If it brings 2 more buyers, that is ₹6,000 a month and payback takes a year. If nothing changes, it does not pay back at all. These numbers are assumed, not a client result, so use your own preview count and price.
06
Check it against your own figures
The return calculator on this site is in beta and gives an estimate from what you enter. Use it to compare a lesson film with a mascot series, not as a target or a promise.
Our process
Our Process
Your learning film starts with a one-sentence objective and a named reviewer on your side. The script is written around that objective, then the character sketches and storyboard come to your reviewer as links, so teachers and subject experts can check the facts while a change is still cheap. Voice and music are added only after you approve the picture. Fly through it on the Our Process page
Step 1 of 11 · Pre-production
1. Discover call / Brief
We start with a call to learn who the video is for, what it must achieve, your key message and your deadline. Then we agree the scope and the style.
- What we do
- We sit down with you to understand your audience, your goal and your message, and agree the style and scope.
- What we need from you
- Who the video is for, what you want it to achieve, your brand guidelines and any style references.
- What you get
- A clear, agreed brief that the whole team works from.
Have a brief in mind?
Send it over and we come back with ideas and a timeline.
- 01Syllabus and sample pages. The chapter or topic list, the age group, and a few pages of the book or lesson plan, so the writer follows your terms and not the studio's.
- 02The number you will watch. Quiz score, completion, enquiries or saves. It decides the length, the style and the placement, and it lets you judge the result afterwards.
- 03Sizes for each platform. If you need 16:9 for YouTube and 9:16 for reels from the same story, say so at storyboard stage. The framing is planned then, not cropped later.
- 04Illustrator for characters and diagrams. Characters, props and clean diagrams are drawn in Adobe Illustrator, so they stay sharp on a projector and on a phone.
- 05Animate and After Effects for movement. Adobe Animate handles expressions and lip sync for a teacher character who talks to the camera for minutes. After Effects covers moving text, countdowns, labels and the final assembly.
What sets us apart
What stays the same on every learning and mascot project
Four habits that protect your lesson or your brand, whatever the age group.
01
1. Facts checked before drawing
Your subject expert approves the script before any art is made. It is the stage where a mistake costs least.
02
2. Characters fitted to the age
A 2D animation character for six-year-olds and one for sixteen-year-olds are not the same character in a different shirt. Shape, colour, speed and voice all change.
03
3. A mascot that works in many sizes
The design is tested at the smallest use first, a sticker or a profile picture, then checked at poster size.
04
4. Plain advice on length
If your idea needs three minutes, you hear that, and it is not stretched to five to reach a price band.
Why Frame Makerzzz
Why a Mumbai studio suits your Bangalore learning and social team
Looking for a 2D animation company in Bangalore? This studio is in Mumbai and has no office in Bangalore. A lesson film or a mascot is built from your scripts, sketches and review links, so the distance does not get in your way. Files and invoices move online, and calls fit around school timetables and content calendars.
If you are starting a series, make the first project small. One lesson or one mascot short settles the look, the voice and your review routine, and every later episode becomes quicker and cheaper to plan.
What changes the result is a clear learning objective, one reviewer on your side who collects comments, and a first project small enough to finish quickly. The city of the studio matters far less than those three.
A teacher filmed on camera is a different job from animation. If you want one recorded to sit beside your animated lessons, a crew can travel to your campus or office. Travel is billed separately and agreed before the shoot, and the studio is not on location in Bangalore every week.

It was amazing experience working with Frame Makerzzz Media Pvt. Ltd. and got to learn a lot working with the organization.
Pick one measure before the film is made. An edtech team can compare quiz scores on the chapter, how many learners watch to the end and how many doubts come in on that topic. A school can ask on every admission enquiry how the parent heard of it, and send the film through a tracked link. A social team can look at watch-through and saves on the mascot clips against its older posts. These are suggestions for measuring, not promises of a result.
Long enough for one idea and no longer. For older learners that is often five to eight minutes. For younger children two to three minutes works better, with a pause where they can answer a question.
Your subject expert or editor. The script is written from your syllabus and sample pages, and nothing is drawn until your reviewer approves it.
Yes, as long as the right voice is available. Tell the studio your language pair and age group, and the artists are confirmed before you get a quote. The diagrams are built separately from the voice, so a second language mostly means a new recording and new on-screen labels, not a new film.
Yes. Both are short 2D films, usually 30 to 90 seconds, that parents watch on phones. The characters look like your students in age and uniform, and the key words sit on screen for parents who watch without sound.
A 30-second 2D film starts at ₹45,000 before GST. That includes the short-film top-up that applies under 60 seconds. A larger cast or many scenes changes the figure, and a quote follows your script.
Animated lesson and training films of five minutes or more are priced per minute: ₹25,000 per minute for 5 to 9 minutes, ₹18,000 for 10 to 14 and ₹13,000 from 15 minutes, before GST. The rate applies to the whole film.
Location matters less than the plan. A series needs its own budget conversation, and a sensible start is one pilot episode. It settles the characters, the voice and your review routine before you commit to a season, and it shows you what a series would cost per episode.
