You know why your machine works, and you cannot be on every call, stand or training session to explain it. Frame Makerzzz has made animation for more than twelve years, and as a 3D mechanical animation company it hears from machine builders, component makers, exporters and the people who train their service staff. They all want the same thing: a film their own engineer would sign off.
The limits matter to you, so here they are. An animation studio is not an engineering office, and you will not get stress, flow or thermal simulation. The motion on screen is the motion your drawings and your engineers describe. When a number is missing, such as stroke length, speed or which part drives and which follows, you get a question before anyone guesses. Your customer's design team will notice a gear turning the wrong way within seconds, and it is your credibility that pays for the mistake.

Years of hands-on production experience
Your CAD model already contains the whole machine. The trouble is that a model sits still, and the people you want to convince do not have your software. A render gives them one angle. A video of the real machine shows them the casing and the guards. A 3D animation takes your model and plays it: the shaft turns, the cam lifts the follower, the piston goes in and the housing fades away so your buyer can watch it happen.
Three things are possible in 3D animation for machines that nothing else does well. You can cut parts away while the machine keeps running. You can slow time down or speed it up, so a cycle that lasts a fifth of a second becomes readable and one that lasts an hour fits into a minute. And you can put the camera anywhere, including inside the gearbox.
The film starts from your real part list. Where something is simplified, such as a hidden bolt pattern or a hose drawn as a straight pipe, it is marked in the animatic, so your engineers see it before the final review and not after.
The people who watch are rarely the ones who designed the machine. They are a distributor, a purchase committee, a new service technician, or a visitor at your stand who gives the screen a few seconds. Build the film for them, and your own engineers explain less.

1. Explain how it works
You have one mechanism and one idea: power comes in here, turns into this motion, and leaves there. A working principle film, such as a 3D animation of a gearbox, does that in about a minute, and the first ten seconds should tell your viewer what the machine is for. Cam-driven feeders, clutches and linkages suit it too.

Selling to dealers abroad
If your pump has distributors in several countries, your sales engineer cannot be on every call. A film with short on-screen labels explains the product on its own. When your model is revised, changing a label or a scene is a small edit and not a new film.

Showing machines too big to bring
You are exhibiting a packaging machine at a trade fair, and the machine on order for a customer cannot be pulled off the shop floor. A looping animation on your stand shows the sealing sequence from angles no visitor could get at the real thing.

Training dealers and technicians
Your new service engineers learn die changeover from a senior colleague, one plant visit at a time. A chaptered film puts the same steps in the same order in front of every new hire, wherever they sit, and your senior engineer keeps those days for other work.

Reviewing a design before the prototype
A purchasing engineer is considering a bottle-filling feeder that has been designed and not built. The animation lets the customer's team challenge clearances and cycle timing while changes are still cheap for you.

Your working parts stay hidden
Guards, casings and safety covers exist for good reasons, and they also block the camera. Even with the covers off, you see the outside of each part and never the contact between two. A 3D animation removes the cover and keeps your machine running.

The film follows your design
Engineering changes arrive after a shoot is over. If a part changes in your model, the affected scenes are rebuilt from the updated file and the rest of the film stays as it was. A reshoot would need the changed machine, a plant stoppage and a crew.

Misunderstanding costs you money
A dealer who misreads an assembly step makes a warranty claim. A buyer who does not see why your design is different compares it with a cheaper machine on price alone. Clear motion on screen can remove some of those calls and comparisons, and you can count them.

A worked sum for your engineers' hours
Say a 60 second film costs ₹1,08,000 before GST. Your sales engineer gives a two-hour demo to each new overseas dealer, and you sign 12 dealers a month. If the film replaces the first hour of each demo, you get 12 hours back every month, or 144 in a year. Divide ₹1,08,000 by 144 and the film costs ₹750 for each hour it saves in the first year, and less in the second. Your brief and script
You send the CAD, the drawings, the part list and ten minutes with the person who knows why the machine works. The script comes from that: one idea per scene, in the order a viewer needs it. Your engineer reads it for wrong terms before anything is drawn.

1. Your drawings stay the reference
Dimensions, ratios and sequences come from your files, and the animatic lists every place where something was simplified. You can trace anything on screen back to a drawing.

If a speed, a stroke or a direction of rotation is missing from your data, you get a question and not a guess. A short email thread early is much cheaper than a wrong scene found at the end.

3. A review link at each stage
You and your colleagues get a private link for the script, storyboard, animatic, work in progress and final cut. Your engineer and your sales head comment on the same version without anyone joining a call.

4. A plain line on what a film cannot do
You will not get simulation or a design sign-off from an animation studio. The film shows what your engineers say is true, and they remain the ones who confirm it.

If you also need the real machine filmed, a crew can come to your works. Travel is billed separately and agreed with you before the shoot. We do not shoot in other cities every week, and we go when your project calls for it. If 3D is more than you need, you will hear that on the first call: a short sequence that only shows a part going in the right way may suit a simpler 2D animation better than a full 3D mechanical animation.

Decide what to count before the film goes out. Put it behind a tracked link or a dedicated page, so you can see how many people open it and how many watch to the end. Ask every new enquiry how they heard about you. Note how many service calls come in about the assembly step the film covers, and how long your sales engineers spend on a first demo. A film is one of several reasons an enquiry turns up, so read these numbers as evidence and not as proof, and write down today's figures first.
A straightforward film typically takes four to six weeks, and a full assembly with many moving parts can take considerably longer. The largest variable is how fast your reviews come back. If you name one engineer who can approve each stage, your schedule stays short.
Send what you have: the CAD assembly, the drawings, the part list and a short note from the engineer who knows the machine. Most design offices can export a neutral format such as STEP, and you will be told if something else would suit better. If only drawings exist, the work can still start, but modelling takes longer.
Yes. If your design is final enough to model, the film can show the machine running before the first prototype. The film will only be as final as the design, so tell us which parts are still open and those scenes will be built to change easily.
As accurate as the data you give. With rpm, stroke, ratios and sequence from your engineers, the animation follows them. When the true speed would be too fast or too slow to read, playback is changed and marked on screen. Forces, temperatures and stresses are not shown unless your team supplies the values, because an animation studio does not run simulations.
Usually yes. The models and scenes are reused to cut a silent exhibition loop, a chaptered service version or a short dealer version. Each cut is quoted separately, because the editing and voice work differ, but the expensive part, building your machine, is already done.
Your files travel over a private link and stay with the project team. If your company needs an NDA, send it before the files and it will be gone through with you. Review links are private to the reviewers you name.
