Explainer Video Company in Mysore Planned to Earn Its Cost Back
If your Mysore business does not have a big video budget, you should not need one. The right explainer video company in Mysore plans a short film so that it earns its cost in several places: your website, your stall, your classroom and your customer's phone. Mysore, or Mysuru, runs on visitors, students and old trades, with a few very large training and technology campuses added on top, and most of the people who buy video here want one spend to cover all of that.
Frame Makerzzz is a Mumbai animation studio that plans each film as a master with smaller cutdowns. Your explainer video services in Mysore start at the studio minimum of ₹35,000 before GST, which covers a film of up to about 44 seconds. A full minute is ₹48,000.
Our experience
Your budget is modest, so every second of the film has to be used
Ask a Mysore business owner what they want from a video and the answer is often modest: something short that explains the product and does not cost a year of profit. That is a good brief for you, because it forces the explainer video to say one thing well.
The city gives you plenty to say. The Dasara festival, first held in 1610, runs for ten days and draws visitors in large numbers. Mysore silk saris are woven in pure silk with gold zari, Mysore Sandal Soap has been made by Karnataka Soaps and Detergents since 1916, and the sandalwood oil factory dates from 1917. The University of Mysore, JSS Science and Technology University, the Central Food Technological Research Institute and the All India Institute of Speech and Hearing are all here, and Infosys and Wipro both have big presences.
The studio behind this page is in Mumbai, with more than ten years of work and over 200 finished projects, and there is no office in Mysore. The rest of the page explains why remote work suits a city of your size, and how to make one film do the work of several.

Years of hands-on production experience

Put simply, an explainer video is a brief animated film about one thing, made for one audience. Think of a guide telling a visitor how a silk sari is woven, or a lecturer showing first-years how a lab procedure goes. Your film does the same job on repeat, without the guide.
Length is where most of your money goes. Prices are before GST and the studio minimum is ₹35,000. Divide one by the other and you see something useful: anything up to roughly 44 seconds costs the same minimum. A 30-second film and a 40-second film are the same price, so if you are paying the minimum anyway, use the extra seconds. At 60 seconds the figure is ₹48,000. These are starting points, and your actual quote depends on the script and the number of scenes. For a rough figure before you call anyone, the pricing planner on this site takes about a minute.
In practice, most small-business explainer videos tend to work between 40 and 75 seconds. Shorter and your point gets squeezed. Longer and the viewer drifts, and you pay for seconds nobody sees.
Where a longer film is justified, such as a staff training module, say so at the start. Films above six minutes get 10 percent off.
Types
Which explainer video types suit a smaller city
Six to start from, each with a note on how you can reuse it.
01
1. Visitor guide explainer video
You run a homestay, a walking-tour business or a small museum, and visitors want to know what they will see, how long it takes and how to book. Cut a 15-second teaser from the same film for social media, and put the full version on your booking page.

Uses
Where your explainer video can be used again
Animated explainer videos in Mysore pay back when you reuse them, so put that plan in the brief and not in a conversation after the invoice.
01
The master and its cutdowns
A 60-second master is written first. From it, two or three pieces of 15 to 20 seconds are planned that use the same artwork, one per message. Ask for the cutdowns while the job is scoped, so they are priced in your first quote.
02
Showroom screens and emporium counters
A looping silent version with captions plays where you do not want a shop assistant talking over a customer. It sits next to your product and explains what the customer is looking at.
03
Exhibition stalls
If you take craft or food products to trade fairs, one film on a screen at your stall answers the questions buyers ask every ten minutes.
04
College fairs and school visits
Your admissions team carries the film on a laptop to visits where the connection may be poor. A downloaded file is more reliable than a web link.
05
Website, email and listings
The same film goes on your homepage, in the booking confirmation email and on travel and marketplace listings. Three places, one production cost.
- 01Tourism and hospitality operators. You run a homestay, a guide business, a small hotel or heritage walks, and you compete with large travel platforms. A clear film on your own page gives people a reason to book direct.
- 02Makers of silk, sandalwood and incense. Mysore agarbathi and sandalwood oil carry the city's name, as do the silk saris. If you make such goods, a film shows the process and the care that goes into them.
- 03Colleges and training providers. The city has a university, a science and technology university and several research institutes. Your admissions and outreach teams need films that you can update each year.
- 04Research bodies and spin-outs. You have something new to show and need a plain-language film for people outside your field. A short film is often the only version of a paper that a funder or a farmer will watch.
- 05Corporate campuses and industrial units. Your training and HR teams work on technology campuses, or in plants in the Nanjangud industrial area, where companies such as Nestlé, TVS and Asian Paints operate. Induction, safety and process modules are common asks.

Why it works
Why an animated explainer video fits a modest budget
Five reasons small businesses choose a drawn film over a filmed one, the last of them with a sum you can redo.
01
One script, many lengths
A drawn film is built in scenes, so you can lift one scene out and use it alone. With footage that is harder to do cleanly.
02
Your artwork carries over
Characters, icons and backgrounds drawn for your first film can appear in the next one, so a later film reaches the screen sooner because the look is settled. If the reuse changes the cost, the quote says so.
03
No clash with the season
Filming at a busy site in Dasara week means crowds and permissions. A drawn film has neither, and you can finish it before the season starts.
04
Quick to change
Fees, dates, opening hours and prices change. Replacing one scene is a small job, so your film does not go out of date.
05
What you pay and how it pays back
Say you run a homestay and a direct booking is worth ₹5,000 to you after costs. A 40-second film costs the ₹35,000 studio minimum before GST. If the film is the reason seven extra guests book direct, it has paid back. That is an example, not a client result, so swap in your own booking value. A tracked link on your booking page tells you how many guests arrived through the film, and the same film on a stall or a counter screen gives it more chances to earn its cost.
Our process
Our Process
Explainer video production in Mysore follows the usual three stages, with more time at the front for a short film. In the first call you agree the master length and decide which cutdowns will come from it, because that shapes the script. Drawing and animation then follow, and you should plan on between two and five weeks in all. Fly through it on the Our Process page
Step 1 of 9 · Pre-production
1. Discover call / Brief
We start with a call to learn who the video is for, what it must achieve, your key message and your deadline. Then we agree the scope and the style.
- What we do
- We sit down with you to understand your audience, your goal and your message, and agree the style and scope.
- What we need from you
- Who the video is for, what you want it to achieve, your brand guidelines and any style references.
- What you get
- A clear, agreed brief that the whole team works from.

What sets us apart
What a small budget buys you here
Four things that matter more when the budget is tight.
01
1. Reuse planned from day one
Before the script is written you agree which cutdowns of the explainer video you need. That keeps surprises out of your invoice.
02
2. Honest advice on length
If your message is done in 40 seconds, you hear so, rather than being stretched to 60 to raise the bill.
03
3. Fewer, clearer rounds
Each review step comes with one clear question. You get a link and a question, answer it, and the project moves on.
04
4. Files you keep
You receive final video files in the formats you need for the web, screens and phones, ready for whoever you hand them to.
Why Frame Makerzzz
Choosing an explainer video company in Mysore that plans for reuse
You are not shopping for the cheapest quote. You are shopping for the film that gets used in the most places for the money, and for a studio that tells you when a shorter film will do.
If you are weighing a local explainer video agency in Mysore against a studio elsewhere, compare what each quote covers. A small film that runs on your website, your stall and your admissions desk earns more than a large film that sits on one page.
Ask each studio how long it has been making films and how it handles revisions. This one has made films for over ten years, so the script, storyboard and voice choices are not guesses.
The return calculator on this site is in beta and gives an estimate, not a promise, but it is a quick way to see whether the spend makes sense before you call.
Start with a call. Tell the studio your season, your budget ceiling and where the film will play, and you will hear what would be made.

It was amazing experience working with Frame Makerzzz Media Pvt. Ltd. and got to learn a lot working with the organization.
Not for a full animated film: ₹35,000 before GST is the studio minimum. That buys you up to about 44 seconds, so plan your script to use all of it. If your budget is lower, a simpler asset such as a short slide-based screen recording will serve you better than a weak film.
Kannada is the most widely spoken language in the city, so it comes up in many briefs. The language of the script and voice is settled at the first call. Before you commit, you are told plainly which of Kannada, English or Hindi voices can be provided for your film.
A cutdown is a shorter piece taken from the same artwork as your main film, such as a 15-second teaser. Cutdowns are agreed in scoping and priced in the quote, so you know the total before work starts.
They do different jobs. A filmed tour shows your rooms and the view. An animated film explains how to reach you, what is included, how booking works and what is worth seeing nearby. If you want the animated part, the starting point is ₹35,000 before GST.
Not for a whole new one. Dates, fees and deadlines are drawn as separate scenes, so next year those scenes are replaced and the rest stays. The changes are scoped and quoted on their own.
Yes, if you start early. A film usually takes between two and five weeks, and for a festival week it is wise to begin about six weeks ahead so your script and approvals are not squeezed.
Prices are before GST, with ₹35,000 as the floor. A 90-second master therefore comes to ₹72,000. The cutdowns you want from it are scoped at the start and added to the same quote, so you have one figure to approve. The pricing planner on this site gives a rough number first.
Choose the measure before the work starts. If you run a homestay or a tour, put a tracked link on the booking page and ask each guest how they found you. For a college, count the enquiry calls that begin with the video and the questions the admissions desk no longer repeats. For a craft maker, note the stall visitors who ask for the product they saw on screen. These are your checks and not results anyone can promise, and a film nobody is sent to will show nothing.
