Explainer Video Company in Pune That Saves Your Engineers Repeat Walkthroughs
Your OEM buyer wants proof of process control, and you cannot walk every auditor through the plant. Your dealers want to know why a coating specification changed and what to tell their customers. Those are the jobs an explainer video company in Pune is hired for: a minute of animation that shows what a part, a process or a plant does to someone sitting at a desk, so your engineers stop giving the same tour.
You work with a Mumbai studio, so you send drawings, process sheets and photos, review each stage online and keep your engineers on the floor. The studio, Frame Makerzzz, has delivered over 450 projects, manufacturing and engineering among them. A 60-second film starts at ₹48,000 before GST, and further down this page is a sum for checking whether it pays back for you.
Our experience
Why your parts are hard to explain over a phone call
Pune and its surroundings have a large automotive and engineering supplier base. Chakan is often called India's Motor City because several big vehicle makers have plants there, and Pimpri-Chinchwad, with its Chinchwad and Bhosari industrial areas, and Talegaon add more. If you supply from this belt, you sell either to a purchase manager or quality engineer at an OEM, or to dealers and distributors who sell on.
Each of those buyers needs something your catalogue does not show. Why one heat treatment outlasts another. How a casting passes through inspection. What changed between revision B and revision C of a part. In animation you can open the housing, run the sequence and point at the tolerance in the order a buyer thinks. The film does that once, and your engineers stop doing it on every call and every audit.

Years of hands-on production experience

For you an explainer video is a 60 to 120-second animation about one subject: a part, a process step, a plant capability or a change. It has a voiceover, a few labels and a clear last line, such as asking for a sample or booking an audit.
Animated explainer videos in Pune's industrial belt do what a photograph cannot. They cut a component open, slow a three-second press operation to ten seconds and show heat or flow as colour. You also decide what stays out, so a rival studying the film learns nothing you did not choose to show.
The usual mistake is one film that introduces the whole company. A buyer who wants your forging line does not want ninety seconds of vision statements. Make the part film, the process film and the capability film separately, then send each to the person who asked, and you can see what each one brings back.
A film of your real plant, shop floor and people is a different job: a corporate shoot, priced separately. For an explainer video you pay by the length of the film, with ₹35,000 as the smallest bill and GST on top. Sixty seconds is ₹48,000, and the pricing planner on this site lets you test other lengths.
Types
Which explainer video formats an engineering supplier should consider
Seven formats suit industrial clients. One brief often turns into two of them, and the second film reuses the artwork of the first, so it takes less design effort.
01
1. Part cut-away explainer video
One component, opened up: how it fits, where load travels, what the material and finish are doing. When a customer asks why your part costs more, your dealer plays this film instead of guessing.

Uses
Where your industrial explainer video gets played and what it saves
Your factory film has more places to work than most owners expect. These five come up again and again.
01
Dealer meets and distributor visits
Play the new-product or change explainer video at the start of the meeting. The room hears one explanation, and your sales head spends the rest of the time on pricing and targets.
02
Audits and quotation follow-ups
Send the process and inspection explainer videos after an enquiry and before the audit team arrives. They come knowing your layout, so your quality head answers sharper questions instead of giving the standard tour.
03
Trade fair stands
A silent loop with captions explains the part to people walking by. Keep it near 60 seconds so it loops cleanly, and your stand staff can talk to the visitors who stop.
04
Operator onboarding
New hires on a shift learn a setup or a safety routine from the same film every time, not from whoever happens to be free. Your senior operator stops repeating the same demonstration on every shift.
05
Export enquiries and your website
A foreign buyer finds you on a search page and wants to see a capable supplier. A short film above your product list says more than a table of machines.
- 01Auto-component makers. You are a supplier at any tier, in Chakan, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Talegaon or nearby, and you need to explain a part or a process to OEM buyers. Typical subjects are a casting, a coating or a machined part that buyers can only judge on paper.
- 02Engineering and machine builders. You build capital equipment or tooling and need a prospect to understand it before a site visit. A film of the machine working can decide whether the visit is worth their time.
- 03Makers who sell through dealers. Pumps, tools, fasteners and similar products, where your dealer is the one who explains the product to the end user. The film becomes the dealer's script, so every customer hears the same explanation.
- 04Surface treatment and job-work vendors. Your value is a process that nobody can see once the part comes out. An animation draws the layer, the bath or the cycle that happens out of sight.
- 05Industrial marketing teams. You handle trade fairs, dealer communication and website content, and need films for each. One brief can produce a part film, a process film and a dealer cut.

Why it works
What a Mumbai studio means for your Pune plant
Pune and Mumbai are in the same state and the same working day, so explainer video production in Pune can run almost entirely without a visit.
01
Drawings in, animation out
You send drawings, process sheets and photos, and book a call with the engineer who knows the operation. Your plant does not need to open its doors for this.
02
Technical review at the right point
Your engineer reads the storyboard line by line. If a valve is on the wrong side, the fix is quick at that stage and expensive after animation.
03
A crew when you need one
If you also want live footage of the plant, the crew travels to Pune. Travel is billed separately, and you agree the amount before the shoot is booked.
04
What you pay and what you get back
A 90-second process film starts at ₹72,000 before GST. Here is an example, not a client result. Say your quality head spends three hours preparing and leading each OEM audit walkthrough, and you host eight a month. If the film lets you drop the first hour of each, that is eight hours back every month. At ₹1,500 an hour for an engineer's time, that is ₹12,000, so ₹72,000 pays back in six months from time alone. The sum leaves out the larger item, which is what one extra OEM enquiry is worth to you. Use your own audit count and hourly cost.
05
A first check on your own numbers
The return calculator on this site is in beta and gives an estimate, not a promise. Pricing by length also makes it easy to plan three short films against one stand budget, since three films with a shared look need less design effort than three separate ones.
Our process
Our Process
Your brief starts with the drawing, the process sheet or the photos you already have, plus one person on your side who can answer technical questions, because the script needs the shop's own words for each operation. You see the script, then the storyboard, then the animation, all on review links. Your engineer checks the sequence at the storyboard stage, where a mistake costs minutes and not days. Fly through it on the Our Process page
Step 1 of 9 · Pre-production
1. Discover call / Brief
We start with a call to learn who the video is for, what it must achieve, your key message and your deadline. Then we agree the scope and the style.
- What we do
- We sit down with you to understand your audience, your goal and your message, and agree the style and scope.
- What we need from you
- Who the video is for, what you want it to achieve, your brand guidelines and any style references.
- What you get
- A clear, agreed brief that the whole team works from.

What sets us apart
What your engineers get in the review loop
Four things that matter once your engineers are reading the storyboard.
01
1. Engineer sign-off before animation
The storyboard shows every step and label in sequence. Your technical person approves it, and animation starts only after that.
02
2. You choose what is shown
Keep proprietary dimensions off screen. The film draws function and sequence, and you see it before it goes anywhere.
03
3. One subject per explainer video
A film on the coating line is about the coating line. If you have four subjects, you get four short films that share artwork.
04
4. Clear pricing
The price is fixed and written down before work starts. Films longer than 6 minutes get 10% off, which suits a full plant walkthrough.
Why Frame Makerzzz
Choosing an explainer video company in Pune when engineers do the checking
Pune has local studios, and some have worked with factories. Your question is which one gets a technically correct film approved in the fewest rounds, and which one helps you decide how the film will pay back.
Ask any studio how it handles technical material and who from your side is in the loop. At Frame Makerzzz the answer is one engineer at every stage, on a schedule of two to five weeks, and the studio has worked in manufacturing among other fields for over 16 years.
There is no Pune office and no local crew, and nobody will pretend otherwise. Work happens from Mumbai, and for animation that is rarely a problem. If a project needs a shoot, a crew travels to the plant and you hear the cost first.
Start with the one subject that costs you the most to explain right now: a part, a process or a change. Send the drawing and a few photos with the brief, and you will get a view on whether a film is the right tool and what it would start at.

It was amazing experience working with Frame Makerzzz Media Pvt. Ltd. and got to learn a lot working with the organization.
Not for an animated film. You send drawings, process sheets and photos, and book a call with the engineer who knows the operation. The film is drawn from those and you check the storyboard. If you also want live footage of the plant, that is a separate shoot: a crew travels to you, and travel is billed separately and agreed before booking.
You decide what gets drawn. The usual approach is to simplify geometry, remove dimensions and show function instead of full detail. Nothing appears on screen that you have not seen on the storyboard, so share only what the film needs.
Marathi is the main language of Pune and Hindi is widely spoken, so raise it on the first call. The voiceover roster spans several languages. Whether a native-speaking artist is free is checked before the quote is final.
As a starting point, a 60-second part film is ₹48,000 and a 90-second process film is ₹72,000, which puts the pair at ₹1,20,000 before GST. Because the studio minimum is ₹35,000, anything under about 44 seconds costs the same as a 44-second film. You get a firm quote after the brief is read.
Animate what the camera cannot see: inside a gearbox, a heat-treatment cycle, a coating layer. Film what the camera sees well: the size of your plant, your people, your machines. If you need to impress an OEM auditor with scale, a plant film is the right tool, and you will be told so.
Pick the numbers before the film is made. Count how many OEM quotation emails carry the film link and how many replies mention it. Time the audit walkthrough your quality head gives before and after. Note how many dealer calls follow a specification change and how many sample requests name the video. Look at the view count and how many people watch to the end. These are checks on your own results and not promises, and a film that never leaves the shared drive will show nothing.
As soon as the drawings are frozen. A film takes two to five weeks. A change film is most useful when it reaches your dealers before the first customer call about the change.
Usually not well. An OEM buyer wants process control, traceability and capability. A dealer wants to know what to tell the customer. Ask for two short cuts that reuse the same artwork, so the second film costs less design effort.
