Explainer Video Agency in Pune That Makes Your Service Clear Before the Call

Pune is a city of campuses and tech parks. Hinjawadi, Kharadi and Magarpatta are home to IT companies, and the city is known for its many colleges and universities. If you run a company, institute, clinic or app in that world, you sell a service, and a service is hard to show. That is when many teams start looking for an explainer video agency in Pune.

Our experience

Why your service is the hardest thing to show

A factory can photograph its product. You probably cannot. If you run an IT firm you sell people and process, if you run a training institute you sell a result that arrives two years later, and if you run a clinic or a lending app you sell trust. In every case your buyer decides from a promise.

An explainer video turns that promise into a sequence: what happens first, who does what, what you hold at the end. Think of a service blueprint that people want to watch. Most animated explainer videos in Pune's service businesses are exactly that, a path drawn out for someone who is still deciding, and it is a path you would otherwise describe by phone again and again.

Overview

What an explainer video agency in Pune asks you first

The first question is always the same: what does your customer do in their first week? A new client of an IT firm gets a kickoff call and a sprint plan. A student gets a counselling session and a timetable. A patient gets an appointment and a report. A loan applicant gets a form and a decision.

Then the path is drawn: people, steps, hand-offs and the moment your customer first sees a benefit. Characters appear where a human is the point, and diagrams where a system is.

Length follows your audience. A founder pitching a seed investor needs 90 seconds. A parent watching an admissions film will give you about a minute. A film on a waiting-room screen can run longer if it has captions.

Cost follows length, whatever the subject of your explainer video. With a ₹35,000 floor, 60 seconds is ₹48,000 and 2 minutes is ₹96,000, before GST, and the pricing planner on this site gives a quick estimate. A film also has limits: it will not fix a service that disappoints, and it works best when someone on your side owns the follow-up, which is also what decides the return on the spend.

Seven explainer videos for IT, education, health and finance teams

These are the explainer video services in Pune that come up most, across the IT, education, health and finance side of the city. Find the one that answers the question your customers ask most.

01

1. IT services explainer video

Show how an engagement runs from discovery to handover and support, drawn as a timeline with the client's touchpoints. A firm in the Hinjawadi or Kharadi parks can attach it to proposals for clients who have never met the team.

Uses

Where your service explainer video earns its place

Decide where the film will be played before it is made, because that sets its length and its first ten seconds, and it also decides whether the film pays back.

  1. 01

    In the proposal email

Your IT firm attaches a link to a 90-second explainer video instead of a deck. The client's procurement team forwards it internally, and your story reaches people you would never meet.

  2. 02

    During admission season

Pin the programme film to your institute's profile and send it in the first reply to every enquiry. Your open days then go to the questions that need a person.

  3. 03

    Waiting rooms and WhatsApp

Your clinic or lab plays a captioned film of how the visit works, and sends the same link to patients who ask beforehand. Patients then arrive knowing which documents to bring.

  4. 04

    Inside the app

Place a short film ahead of your application form so applicants know what to keep ready. The form is then completed with fewer mistakes, and your support team answers fewer of the same questions.

Who it is for

Which Pune service teams get the most from an explainer video

Pune's service buyers split into those who sell to businesses and those who sell to families.

You brief them differently, because the first group watches at a desk and the second on a phone in the evening.

Approval patterns differ. In a start-up, one founder says yes. In an institute, a director, a principal or a management committee may need to agree. In a clinic, the doctor has the last word on facts. Tell whichever explainer video agency in Pune you hire who is on your list at the start, and ask it to set the review order to suit. Reviewers who join late are the usual reason rework eats the return on a film.

  1. 01IT services and software firms. You sit in Hinjawadi, Kharadi, Magarpatta or elsewhere in the city and need to explain how an engagement works. Your usual viewer is a procurement or engineering head at the client.
  2. 02Early-stage start-ups. You are preparing for investors, accelerators or first enterprise customers. A film made for a first round usually becomes your website film as well.
  3. 03Classes, institutes and colleges. Your admissions and programme teams answer the same questions every year. The same film often serves open days, social posts and the first reply to a parent.
  4. 04Edtech companies selling to institutes. Your product team needs a principal or a trust to understand the platform in two minutes. Teachers and administrators each see what changes for them.
  5. 05Clinics, labs and health-service providers. You need to explain a visit or a test calmly. Patients arrive less anxious when they have seen the steps beforehand.
  6. 06Fintech and lending teams. You want applicants to understand the steps before they begin. Applicants who know the steps may drop out less often, which is a goal and not a promise.

Why it works

What working from Mumbai means for your Pune project

The distance between the cities is short, but nothing depends on it. Explainer video production in Pune runs on calls and review links.

  1. 01

    Review by the right person

A doctor reads the medical script, a compliance officer reads the finance script, a principal reads the admissions script. Each gets the link for their stage, and nothing is animated until they are happy.

  2. 02

    Plain about the limits

The studio has no Pune office and no local crews. If your project needs live filming at a campus or clinic, a crew comes to you, and the travel cost is settled with you in advance.

  3. 03

    Language chosen for the viewer

Families in Pune may prefer Marathi or Hindi, while IT firms mostly work in English. Decide who the film is for, and the voiceover and subtitles are planned around that.

  4. 04

Explainer videos that can be cut down

The main film is built so that 20 and 30-second clips can be lifted from it for social posts or WhatsApp. The clips carry the same artwork, so they feel like one campaign.

  5. 05

What you pay and what you get back

A 60-second film starts at ₹48,000 before GST. Here is an example, not a client result. Say a new student pays ₹60,000 in fees and your institute keeps ₹25,000 of it after costs. Two extra enrolments bring in ₹50,000, which covers the film. Use the margin you keep and not the fee, and use your own numbers. An IT firm can run the same sum with the profit on one signed engagement. A second sum is time: if your admissions desk spends 10 minutes explaining the process to each of 300 enquiries in a season, and the film cuts that to 6 minutes, you get 20 hours back.

  6. 06

A first check on your own numbers

The return calculator on this site is in beta and gives an estimate, not a promise. It is a place to start, and your own enquiry and admission records are the better test once the film has been live for a season.

Our process

Our Process

You begin with a one-page journey: what your customer does on day one, who they speak to and what they get. That page becomes the script, and the script becomes a storyboard you can read like a comic strip. Your director, principal or founder approves each stage by review link, so the film keeps moving through admission weeks, audits and release cycles. Fly through it on the Our Process page

PreProductionPost

Step 1 of 9 · Pre-production

1. Discover call / Brief

We start with a call to learn who the video is for, what it must achieve, your key message and your deadline. Then we agree the scope and the style.

What we do
We sit down with you to understand your audience, your goal and your message, and agree the style and scope.
What we need from you
Who the video is for, what you want it to achieve, your brand guidelines and any style references.
What you get
A clear, agreed brief that the whole team works from.

What sets us apart

What your service team gets from the studio

Four ways a service brief is handled differently from a product brief.

01

1. Journey first, script second

Your customer's first week is mapped before a word of the script is written, so the film follows a path your viewer recognises from their own experience.

02

2. Sign-off by the person who knows

Your doctor, compliance officer or principal reviews their own piece. Facts get fixed before they are drawn.

03

3. One film, several cuts

The main film is planned so that shorter clips can be taken from it without a second production.

04

4. Straight talk about budgets

If a student project or a tiny team cannot meet the ₹35,000 minimum, you hear it on the first call instead of receiving a padded quote.

Why Frame Makerzzz

Choosing an explainer video agency in Pune for a service business

You can find an agency in Pune without much trouble. What matters more is whether it helps you pick the one question your film must answer, and how you will tell later that it did.

Healthcare, finance, education and technology are familiar ground for Frame Makerzzz after more than ten years of making explainer videos, and that is why the first question is what happens in your customer's first week.

The limits: no Pune office, no local crew, and a studio minimum that is not made for tiny budgets. You read all three on this page, so nobody finds out on a call.

A good first step is to write down the three questions your customers ask most often and send them with the brief. You will hear which film answers them best. Allow about eight weeks before an admissions date or a launch: two to five for the film and the rest for your own approvals.

The studio minimum for an animated explainer is ₹35,000 before GST, and it does not go below that. If it is out of range, a short film built with free tools may serve a class project better, and you will be told so instead of being sold something you do not need. If your start-up is raising money and the film will be used in pitches, then it is worth a conversation.

Start with one film about how the institute works for a new student, then cut a short clip for each programme, since the artwork can be reused. A 90-second main film is ₹72,000 and a 30-second programme clip is ₹35,000 at the studio minimum, all before GST. Four clips would add ₹1,40,000, so decide first which programme needs the most help filling seats.

Yes, if the characters, colours and pace are chosen for that. Soft shapes and a calm voice do more than a realistic drawing of a needle. Your doctor reviews the script and the storyboard, because the facts must be right, and the studio does not write clinical claims.

Leave live rates out. Rates change, and a film cannot be edited as quickly as a web page. Explain how your product works, what is checked and where the customer can see current terms, and point to your site for the numbers.

As a starting point, 90 seconds comes to ₹72,000 before GST. The final figure shifts with the number of scenes and the style. A film for an IT firm usually covers how an engagement begins, who the client talks to and what they receive at handover. Weigh the cost against the value of one signed engagement, using the sum in the section on what you pay and what you get back.

Decide the measure before production. An institute can add a field to the enquiry form asking how the family heard of you, and time how long the admissions desk spends per enquiry. A clinic can count the calls that ask which documents to bring. An IT firm can see which proposal recipients opened the link and how many watched to the end. A fintech can count incomplete applications. Compare the same weeks before and after. These are checks on your own results and not promises, and a film nobody is sent will show nothing.

A second version needs a new voiceover and re-timed on-screen text. The voiceover roster covers several languages, so name the ones you want in the brief. Availability is checked first and the quote follows. Subtitles are a cheaper option when the visuals carry the story.

Nobody can honestly name one studio as the best for every brief, and Frame Makerzzz will not say it of itself. Filming at a campus or lab is a live-action job, separate from animation, and a crew travels to you from Mumbai. Travel is charged on top, and you approve the amount before dates are confirmed. For most explainers no filming is needed, because the scenes are drawn.
